download software for folder lock

Folder Lock is the best software I ever used for protect and locking my files using a password. The application secures your files in two ways, one is by locking and the other and more secure way is by encrypting your data and making lockers, which can only be opened with a password. Lockers are more secure and does not take any extra space and their size grows only when the data in them increases. The lockers can easily be copied and moved.

Benefits Of Using Folder Lock :

  • Data Encryption and online backup.
  • Secure data in two ways, Lock or Encrypt. Encrypting is more secure.
  • Create and store Wallets for securely saving your confidential data.
  • Portable, can be moved to other location and can be copied to removable media.
  • Can also protect removable devices like Flash Drives, CD/DVD and Floppy Disks
  • A reliable and secure way to protect any kind of data.

history of android os

android 12 550x343 History of Android
Android, This word means a lot in present High-Tech World. Today Smartphone are known for its operating system which is Android. Earlier there is no option for operating systems like Android in mobile, as usual there are symbian, java featured operating systems but today things had changed a lot, everyone wants a Smartphone which is functioned on Android only. Even if someone asks me that what smartphone would i should buy? I suggest them to buy a one which consist of android in it with latest version no matter what’s the cost. In a very short span of time android created a reputed place in the market. What is this Android actually? Android is a software cluster for mobile devices that includes an operating system OS, key applications and middleware. The Android SDK provides the tools and APIs required to begin developing applications on the Android platform using the Java programming language. About the design, Kernal of Android is based on Linux kernal and further furnished by Google. Android doesn’t have a essential X Window System nor does it support the full set of standard GNU libraries, which makes it difficult to port existing Linux applications or libraries to Android.
Now, I want to share something about Android’s history. Android Incorporation was founded in Palo Alto, California, United States in October, 2003 by Andy Rubin : co-founder of Danger (Danger Incorporation was a company exclusively in platforms, software, design, and services for mobile computing devices), Rich Miner : co-founder of Wildfire Communications, Incorporation, Nick Sears : once VP at T-Mobile, and Chris White : headed design and interface development at Web TV. From starting Android Incorporation operated secretly, expose only that it was working on mobile software’s. On that same year, Rubin had some sort of financial problems and Steve Perlman gave him $10,000 cash in an envelope and refused a stake in Android Incorporation.
Google took over Android Incorporation in August 2005, making Android Incorporation a entire owned property of Google Incorporation main employees of Android Incorporation, including Andy Rubin, Rich Miner and Chris White, stayed at the company after the possession of Google. Not much was known about Android Incorporation at the time of the acquisition, but people conclude that Google was planning to penetrate the mobile phone market with their weapon i.e Android.
After that on 12, November 2007 Android beta SDK was released. Many of you thinking what is SDK? its a Software Development Kit which gives you platform to make new applications, games and other softwares. With proper knowledge you can make any application according to your will.
On 23 September, 2008 the first Android device is launched, that is HTC Dream G1 which operates Android 1.0,and after that android shows 1.1 update which was released for T-Mobile G1 only.
On November 5, 2007, the Open Handset Alliance, a bunch of several companies which include Broadcom Corporation, Google, HTC, Intel, LG, Marvell Technology Group, Motorola, Nvidia, Qualcomm, Samsung Electronics, Sprint Nextel, T-Mobile and Texas Instruments expose themselves in front of media itself. The aim of the Open Handset Alliance is to develop open standards for mobile devices. On the same day, the Open Handset Alliance also unveiled their first product, Android, a mobile device platform which is built on the Linux kernel (version 2.6).
On 9 December, 2008 14 new members accompany, including ARM Holdings, Asustek Computer Inc, Garmin Ltd, Huawei Technologies, PacketVideo, Atheros Communications, Vodafone, Sony Ericsson, Toshiba Corp.

______________________________________________________________________________________________________
Warning!!!
Check your countrys refrigerant handling rules before you attempt this.

If you live in Australia only attempt this if you are an Air con mechanic or Car mechanic with a refrigerant handling license .

If not you can make a system out of a water pump instead.
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________

This Is a guide on how to make a Freezer box powered by a fridge compressor .

This system uses The very basic must have components of a fridge .

Compressor : To pump the refrigerant around the system

Heat Exchangers : These copper coils are used to rejected heat at the condenser and absorb heat and the evaporator

Metering device : This Is a must have component , to meter the liquid refrigerant into the evap coil and to created a pressure drop .

Refrigerant Gas : This 134a Gas which is used in most cars fridges/freezers , Its used to create a reversible phase change from a liquid to a gas . In the evaporator the gas changes from a liquid to a gas , In the condenser the opposite is done. When it changes state like this it either gives of or absorbs heat .

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The basic idea of this system is to keep ice water cool at temps bellow freezing .

The coils are submerged into water . The Cooler box has been split into two parts .

The condenser on the right gives of heat and makes the water warm .
The water is changed when it the temp gets to high . Or can be set up to slowly drip new water in while dripping and the same rate the warm water.
Ive used water as the medium instead of air . so there is no hot air coming out of the system.

19022012(008).jpg

Step 1Tools and Materials

iTools and Materials
    19022012(014).jpg
  • 19022012(015).jpg
Tools

A Brazing device either a hand held torch or an oxy set.

Copper tube cutters

Pipe benders

Conduit cutters or a hack saw

Hack saw

Materials

1/4 copper pipe ( DO not use plastic or anything else with refrigerant gas!)

A Cooler box or a Styrofoam box

Styrofoam divider

A fridge or freezer compressor ( Remove from an old fridge one that has lost its gas already )

A hand valve or a capillary tube

Solder

Drain hose

Pvc Pipe glue

Step 2Piping up the system

iPiping up the system
I used 1/4 copper pipe . I Made the condenser on the right square to fit in more . I used pipe benders to make this shape , You can get a similar bend with your hands its pretty impossible to kink 1/4 pipe . You could also keep the coil round .
The coil comes in roll about 300 diameter . I made the coil abit tighter by bending it just a tiny bit every so often .

You could also have the condenser in a separate tank . A round bucket and keep the coils round .

I used old gauge hoses just to make it abit more portable and easily dismantled . Also the only hand vavle i had at the time only fitted on hoses .

I would recommend just using copper all the way.  And making the condenser coil bigger than i did . Should be around 40% . Normally the condenser is bigger than the evap . But with the water been used instead of air it can be abit smaller .

With the old compressor you have found . Figure out what side is the discharge ( the red hose in my pictures) and what side is the suction ( the blue hose).
The smaller pipe coming out will be the discharge and the bigger the suction.

Following the Diagram bellow .

4 is the compressor the discharge pipe then goes to the (1) condenser

the outlet of the condenser then goes to the metering device( hand valve) .

The gas then travels to the evaporator as cold vapor.

The outlet of the evaporator is The suction pipe.

----
I have cut in little notches with a hack saw blade so the lid closes and doesnt hit the pipes .

Step 3Running the system.

You should also Vac the system out before adding gas. To stop moisture freezing up at your metering device.

You need Add gas before you can run the system .

The system that you removed the old compressor should say how much gas it took. This is only an rough idea .
The system i removed my compressor from took 80grams . 0.08kgs not much at all . Slowly add the gas until the system is running well.
I ended up adding 65grams of gas.

You will have to play around with the hand valve until you get the system running coldest . Open it up a tiny bit until you can hear gas going through . 95% closed.

I have picture of the coil iced up with about half of a inch of ice around it , but cant get the upload picture thing working atm.

Step 4Adding Air con mod

iAdding Air con mod
I have not had time to do this step yet .

But the idea is to have a Spiget onto the lid of the box so i can tape 300mm duct onto the back of the fan.
The water in the evap side is only half full . So retangle holes can be cut around that size of the box .

Air will be sucked in through these wholes and the cool air from the freezing water will blow out of the fan.

Step 5Extra notes and info

The temps of the system are as follows.

0c is freezing temp of water .

Water temp after 20 mins .

2c

Evap coil temp

-2c

Condenser water temp if no fresh water going in after 20 mins

38c on the top inch of the water then about 30c under this.

Condeser Coil temp

42c+

Ive been putting the waste warm water into my washing machine . You could wait over night if you have 2 buckets and the water would be cool again .

Improvements
Things i would do different , if i had a drain hose on the condenser near the top . to drain the top hot water . There seems to be a hot layer of water on top which gets thicker over time. If this water was changed instead of the colder water at the bottom it would work better.

The metering device is hard to calibrate correctly . It would be to hard to get a perfect length and bore of capillary tube but something close would work.

The charge of gas is just a guess, The perfect amount takes awhile to calculate .

Can the first few posters tell me if i have made any grammar mistakes or any more info i should add

how to make Mini Solar Air-Conditioner (a.k.a Swamp cooler)

iMini Solar Air-Conditioner (a.k.a Swamp cooler)
Here's an Instructable to make a simple, cheap, and energy efficient air conditioner with basic materials, and should cost less than $5. How it works is evaporating water in the
A/C (air-conditioner) pulls heat away, making the inside cold. The fan sucks air through the A/C, making the air cold. The warmer it gets, the more effective this A/C gets.
And it's easy on your wallet!

The materials are:
-popsicle sticks (about 20)
-cooling fan from computer
-solar panel, batteries, or other low voltage power source
-cloth that absorbs well
-scissors
-hot glue and a glue gun
-water

Step 1Cooling fan... Meet the popsicle sticks.

iCooling fan... Meet the popsicle sticks.
You can get cooling fans free from computer repair shops and are in power supplies.
Once you find a suitable one (bigger ther better), stick six popsicle stick like the picture below.
You can trim the round ends with scissors if you want.

Step 2Dress Up Time!

iDress Up Time!
Now cut a few strips of the cloth that absorbs well (shamwow, towel, burlap...) like one of the pictures below Then cut using scissors four or more popsicle sticks so it's the same size as the base width . Glue the cloth strips onto the cut popsicle sticks. Then glue that on like the main pic. Attach another stick on the opposite side and glue the cloth onto it. The bottom pictures are examples.

Step 3Dress Up Some More!

Dress Up Some More!

Glue another of these together (pic on the bottom). Then stick two popsicle sticks together like the two back ones on the first step. Glue it on like the pic shows and put another stick that's the base width size onto the other side. Streach the cloth across and attach it to the stick.

Step 4Coveralls

iCoveralls
  • DSCN1962.JPG
  • DSCN1963.JPG
If you have any extra cloth left, glue that on the sides. Remember: the more cloth, the better if there's easy airflow around everything.

Step 5The End

iThe End
That was the Mini Solar A/C! Ugly but works. Add water to the cloth with a spoon until it's all soaked up, power it up with a solar panel (one or two watts), batteries, or a low voltage power source, and cool your house. Make several of these or a large scale one to lower your power bill in the summer.
Check out my other ible' for electric fire.

Portable 12V Air Conditioner --Cheap and easy!

Portable 12V Air Conditioner --Cheap and easy!
    LeerCourier Shell.jpg
  • complete.JPG
This project is my dad's $10 solution to a $500 solution to a $25,000 problem. As I have previously mentioned around the site, my Dad owns an electric 1979 Ford Courier pickup, and is cool enough to let me drive it around. We absolutely love it, and wouldn't trade it for a Tesla Roadster, but one of the few problems with electric cars is heating and cooling. In a gas car, heat is provided by the 80% of the gas that is wasted as heat, and air conditioning is provided by a crankshaft-driven compressor system. Many EVs use hair dryer elements and fans for heat, and some, ours included, feature a powerful gasoline-burning heater.

(Update from 4-22-08: I'd forgotten that I mentioned the gas heater on here. Last fall the gas tank and heater were removed, and a ceramic heater was built in. It works great, although not quite as fast, and doesn't use gas.)

However, air conditioning is trickier because the shaft of an electric motor doesn't always spin. Some have used a compressor driven by the motor shaft anyway, while others have turned a compressor using a separate motor. Finally, my dad came up with part of the concept for this system. It pumps ice water through an evaporator core, which has fans that blow air through it. It is very simple, but we found what we were looking for at Sporty's Pilot Shop. They sell air conditioners built into ice chests for prices ranging from $475 for a basic model to $625 for a 24V, dual fan model. There is also an ArcticAir unit for $4750 with a full compressor unit. However, we like our $10 version better. I saw the ArcticAir display at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh this summer, and our unit is more compact and puts out cooler air. All you need is materials, basic construction/assembly and wiring skills, and a bag of ice. Let's go!

Motorola Under Google: 3 Possible Futures

Mashable OP-ED: This post reflects the opinions of the author and not necessarily those of Mashable as a publication.
Now that Google has officially and completely swallowed up Motorola Mobility, the question becomes: What now?
It’s a good question. When Google announced it was acquiring the company that built the iconic RAZR phone in August last year, it caught many by surprise. Until then, Google seemed to be content to be the chief architect of the Android mobile operating system, leaving hardware manufacturing to, well, hardware manufacturers.
But the buy made sense as straight-up purchase of intellectual property. Motorola holds many patents (more than 17,000) and some even serve as the basis for standard technologies in wireless communication. The main purpose of the acquisition was clearly to beef up Google’s relatively weak patent portfolio — a smart move, given the litigious nature of the tech world today.
However, besides the IP, Google also got a hardware company for its $12.5 billion. Now it has to do something with it.
In his announcement Tuesday, Google CEO Larry Page says Motorola will be a wholly owned subsidiary of Google, suggesting the company’s operations will remain at arm’s length from Google proper. Since Android (and Google) are supposed to remain hardware neutral, this is cautiously good news for Motorola’s competitors.
But in the same note, Page says it’s replacing Motorola’s CEO with a “longtime Googler” and several other key executives will be replaced as well. Google appears to have big plans for Motorola Mobility, but given that newbie CEO Dennis Woodside doesn’t have a strong history in telecommunications (he began his career as a mergers and acquisitions lawyer, according to his LinkedIn profile) or Android, it’s unclear what those plans are. I see three possibilities:

1. Motorola Forever

Google could go full speed ahead with Motorola as a hardware company. Motorola used to be a buzz-worthy brand and, with the RAZR and StarTAC, created some groundbreaking products. For a moment, it captured a little of that magic again with the Droid RAZR, which debuted last year.
However, owning Motorola complicates Google’s relationship with other Android manufacturers. Given the replacement of many top executives, you’d have to be tremendously naive to think Motorola now won’t have some kind of inside scoop on Android, even if the relationship is kept distant on paper.
However, if recent rumors are to be believed, Google could be mitigating this problem — not by limiting Motorola, but by giving several hardware makers preferential treatment. Google is said to be expanding its partnerships to give more manufacturers an early look at future versions of Android.
There’s also the side note of Motorola’s cable-box business. If Google is serious about pressing forward with Motorola, as my colleague Christina Warren observed, it would be a big missed opportunity if it didn’t see this as its gateway for Google TV. Of course, what will really make that service sing is content partnerships, not fancy tech.

2. Spin Off

Going the other direction, Google could just take its patents and sell off Motorola’s hardware operations and other assets to the highest bidder. This would be a public-relations nightmare for the company, not to mention a tremendously wasteful thing to do. If Google really wanted to just boost its IP arsenal, there were cheaper ways to go about it (as Facebook has recently shown).
While making hardware does appear to be strikingly against Google’s general philosophy (by the same token, it’s not a media company), a spinoff is unlikely. If that were the plan, Google could have just issued a press release noting the acquisition — there was no need for Page to write a personal note praising Motorola’s history of hardware innovation.

3. Somewhere in Between

Then there’s the ugly possibility that Google will end up crippling Motorola because the two businesses together are actually less than the sum of their parts. IP aside, if Google is keeping Motorola separate — or is treating all its hardware partners in the same way — what’s the point of owning it?
Also, a corporate merger like this sends ripples throughout a company. Will Motorola engineers now be gun-shy about introducing phone features that might annoy its corporate parent? By the same token, will managers be too careful about tightly integrating some Google services to avoid accusations of collusion? And if Windows Phone eventually achieves significant market share, I think we can forget it ever showing up on a Motorola device. But is that the position a true hardware innovator would take?
Good management can deal with some of those issues, but some pose fundamental questions about what kind of company Google wants to be. With good answers, Motorola could end up influencing Android for the better. A few years from now, Tuesday’s gung-ho note from Page may be looked back on as the seed of a brave new Motorola, which rose to new heights once it was under the Google umbrella.
Or it could be like when eBay bought Skype: a confusing move, poorly executed, involving two companies that don’t really fit together. That would be a depressing outcome, but both sides should take heart: Those brands are still around today, and they’re more successful than ever.

Facebook May Launch Smartphone by Next Year [REPORT]

Facebook may be gearing up to launch its first-ever smartphone by next year, a new report suggests.
According to The New York Times, engineers have been sought by recruiters to work on building hardware for a Facebook smartphone. This would be the social network’s third attempt to develop a smartphone, the report said, citing sources close to the matter.
The news comes as search engine giant Google completed the acquisition of Motorola Mobility for $12.5 billion earlier this week. This move could help Facebook counter that with its own foray into the smartphone hardware business.

Although Facebook was reportedly first working on a smartphone in 2010, sources said the initiative stopped due to development complications. Meanwhile, AllThingsD has reported Facebook and manufacturer HTC were working together to develop a mobile device under the code name “Buffy.”
It’s believed that “Buffy” may still be in development. Hiring engineers to work specifically on building Facebook phones would position the company to explore other smartphone projects, as well.
Do you think a move into the smartphone business would be smart for Facebook or would it overextend itself? Would you buy a Facebook phone?

TOP 5 CAPCOM GAMES

On May 30, Capcom celebrated its 31st birthday. But because we cannot take Capcom to a lovely little sake bar in its hometown of Osaka, Japan, we opted instead to celebrate the game giant's top five franchises. Because, as we looked across Capcom's long and on-going history, we noticed that if there is one thing Capcom does extremely well, it is launch franchises. And kill zombies. And throw dragon punches. Alright, there are three things Capcom does well.

5. Vs. Series
Marvel Vs. Capcom 2
Capcom essentially established the fighting game genre as we know it, and by the mid-1990s the arcade and console scenes were flooded with Street Fighter sequels and me-too variations of the basic formula. Come 1996, Capcom cooked up the greatest-yet departure from their one-on-one fighting game recipe and released X-Men vs. Street Fighter, the first of many fighters in the unofficially recognized Vs. series.
X-Men vs. Street Fighter melded the frantic air combos of Capcom's earlier Children of the Atom fighter with the company's internationally famous Street Fighter cast, and somewhere in the process pioneered tag team fighting. X-Men vs. Street Fighter set a precedent for outrageous fighting game shenanigans, and with each subsequent Vs. game Capcom upped the insanity. Witness a modern match of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 -- with six characters in play at any given moment, infinite combo patterns, and confounding techniques like "unfly mode." It's just about impossible for a layman to reconcile the action with what he or she knows about fighting games. That's the appeal. Ten years later, the madness continues with Tatsunoko vs. Capcom and Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

4. Breath of Fire
Breath of Fire II
Capcom is synonymous with fighters, Mega Man, and all manner of zombie killing. But Capcom also has a solid role-playing game franchise in its legacy: Breath of Fire. (Which, incidentally, was first published in the States by Square.)
Each breath of Fire game stars the blue-haired boy Ryu and the spunky fae Nina. Ryu is an able fighter, but his real power is the ability to transform into a dragon. Just the ability to get all dragoned-up is cool, but Ryu is not the only mystical monster in the Breath of Fire universe. The worlds of each title in the five-game main series are populated with talking frogs, winged people, gargoyle guardians, and waking armadillos. Though the Breath of Fire games evolved across the SNES to the PlayStation 2, the core held steadfast to Japanese RPG formulas – something that many gamers still celebrate.

Sadly, though, do not hold out hope for a Breath of Fire revival. In a late 2008 interview with 1up, Capcom head of research and development Keiji Inafune all but dismissed the idea of Ryu riding again: "There are currently no plans on making a new Breath of Fire game. Apart from that, regarding RPG titles, they are very popular in Japan, but only certain RPG titles sell so Capcom doesn't really need to even consider making these titles as an option." Surely, that made a lot of gamers very sad woren. Those are the cat people in Breath of Fire, by the way.

3. Mega Man
Mega Man 9
In the 1980s, Capcom cornered the market on top-notch NES action games. Although games like Bionic Commando and Duck Tales have become legendary in their own right, Mega Man was the only potential franchise to really catch on. And catch on it did: with six sequels on the NES alone and subsequent iterations on nearly every platform, Mega Man may be almost entirely responsible for the sequel-itis that now dominates the video game industry. With 28 million Mega Man games sold worldwide, it's hard to blame Capcom for bringing the Blue Bomber back each time.
Since his debut in 1987, Mega Man has appeared in everything from RPGs to fighting games and even several cartoon series. But the original formula has proven too good to ignore, and two decades after Mega Man first graced the Nintendo, the robot hero returned in pseudo-retro pixilated form in Mega Man 9 and 10. He still has all the trappings of his most beloved NES era games: eight Robot Masters, a scheming Dr. Wily and a surprisingly adaptable arm cannon. What more could a blue robot ask for?
2. Resident Evil
Resident Evil Archives
Some publishers are one-trick ponies, pumping out installments in one or two genres over and over again. Not Capcom. Platformers, shooters, fighters, puzzle games, action games – nothing is off limits. And how many game companies can say they singlehandedly popularized a genre? Yes, there were games like Resident Evil before 1996, but Shinji Mikami's vision of survival horror captured gamers' imaginations and rocketed to popularity. What's so amazing about the early installments in the Resident Evil series is their capacity to truly frighten. That focus has gradually given way to intense action in recent years, but the early titles in the franchise gave us legitimate chills (and sometimes made us jump).
Resident Evil is never going to win any writing awards; the story is all but incomprehensible at times. But the gameplay is so solid that it creates memorable moments all on its own. Resident Evil's convoluted puzzles, white-knuckled survival dashes, inventory management crises, dastardly bosses and iconic environments combine to create an unforgettable gaming experience across multiple decades and platforms. The story of Resident Evil is not so much Jill or Chris against Umbrella and zombies as it is you, the gamer, against the horrors of Raccoon City and beyond. The series has wound its way into numerous spinoffs, sequels and reboots over the years, and not all have hit the bulls-eye. But the core Resident Evil experiences are so outstanding, so fulfilling, that they outshine their lesser cousins. Capcom's iconic survival horror franchise is still going strong, and we can't wait to see where the developer takes it next.

1. Street Fighter

Funny that a mostly uncontrollable mess of an arcade game would become one of gaming's most dearly-loved franchises. The first Street Fighter, released sometime in the 1700s, was never highly regarded. Its inconsistent controls for pulling off special moves were further confounded, originally, by analog rubber pads instead of the now-familiar six-button configuration. But Capcom persisted with the idea and eventually produced the transcendent Street Fighter II.
Capcom didn't invent the one-on-one fighting game, but Street Fighter II established so many genre norms that to credit Capcom with the birth of the genre isn't really inaccurate. The series gained cultural traction with its compelling gameplay -- simple and inviting on the surface, but infinitely deep on further inspection -- and cast of memorable, if not overly stereotyped, fighters. Arcades gained new relevance (perhaps their last) and Capcom's Street Fighter games sustained a sub-culture of tournament players eager to travel the nation to compete.

After a decade-long layoff from the limelight, Street Fighter is lately back to form as a Capcom mainstay. International Street Fighter tournaments continue to draw massive crowds and serve as a focal point for a thriving culture of competitive gaming.

Honorable Mention: Onimusha
Onimusha 3: Demon Siege
Ignore the detractors: Onimusha is not Resident Evil with samurai. Yes, the two star franchises share some DNA – there is no shortage of object-collecting puzzles and the swordsman heroes of Onimusha turn like tanks, too – but the Onimusha franchise was far more action-oriented than the early Resident Evils. (That, of course, has since changed.) Featuring incredible retellings of Japanese history with a healthy dose of the paranormal that provide awesome set pieces, the Onimusha games deserve to at least be mentioned with the top five Capcom franchises. It's been a few years since Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams, but hopefully Capcom has not hung up the Oni gauntlet for good. Samanosuke, hero of the first and third Onimusha games, deserves one more ride.
